Your special day
At Hale Park it is very much, “Your day, your way”. We want to present a very classy blank canvas onto which you project your personality and dreams. Most couples have a ceremony of marriage first followed by a gathering with food and drink afterwards; music is an option also.
A very welcome reception
Following your ceremony, the drawing rooms (max cap.120) and the gardens are available for drinks and “breakfast”. Where you choose to hold these events will, in part, be dictated by the number of guests. There is an option to put one or two gazebos (cap.50 each) in the garden outside the drawing rooms or there is space to erect a marquee.
Food and drink options, caterers, table settings and chairs, flowers and accessories are, of course, your choice. However, being a Grade 1 house, we will want to approve your choices before confirmation or you can use one of our preferred suppliers. This is to preserve the fabric of the house and the structure and layout of the gardens.
There are three separate and connected Drawing Rooms: the music room, the main room and the other room. As these are licensed individually, it is possible to have a small ceremony in one of the smaller rooms, keeping the main room prepared for whatever comes afterwards.
Preparations
For the crucial and private bridal preparations on the day itself, we can offer space in the South Wing. This will be on the first floor and have access to a kitchen, sink and toilet as well as lots of space for bridesmaids and photographer.

The send off
We have no preconceptions for entertainment at Hale Park. We are situated on a hill so very loud music will travel to the local villages. Festivities should be winding down around 11pm with everyone gone by midnight. Otherwise there is a lot of space for many different things: diner and bar carts; light shows and projections; live performance or music; your imagination and budget are the limits! Full on fireworks displays will have to be discussed, as we have several horses at livery; floating lanterns are actively discouraged in the New Forest.
